From humble beginnings to European competitions, our journey is one of passion and perseverance.
GRK Ohrid was originally established as HC Elektromontaža Ohrid, marking the beginning of handball excellence in the region.
The club won three national championships in 1977, 1978, and 1983, becoming one of the top handball teams in Macedonia.
Financial difficulties led to a decline, and the club ceased operations in the early 2000s during turbulent times.
GRK Ohrid was founded as a successor to HC Elektromontaža, bringing handball back to the city of Ohrid.
The club's first season in the Macedonian Handball Super League, finishing eighth and marking the return to top competition.
Qualified for the 2017-18 EHF Cup qualification, facing international teams and showcasing GRK Ohrid on the European stage.
Continuing to compete in European competitions and the Macedonian Super League, with ambitions to return to the top of Macedonian handball.

The handball players of Ohrid will visit the team of Eurofarm Pelister this Saturday as part of the 7th round of the Super League playoffs. "We are playing against Pelister, who secured two narrow victories in Ohrid—matches that could have had a different final outcome. It will be a bit more challenging in Bitola, but we are going there to compete, despite some roster issues.
